Roll out of Pfizer/BioNTech Covid vaccine will take time says Kent health bosses  |  Updated: 17:45, 17 December 2020 The mass rollout of coronvirus vaccinations in Kent has been described as a marathon rather than a sprint as greater capacity is forecast for January. UK health workers have started immunising patients as the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid jab will be administered from at least 18 GP surgeries across the county by Saturday. Dermatology failings at DMC Healthcare in Medway, Gravesend, Dartford and Sheppey  |  Updated: 13:26, 11 December 2020 Councillors fear the full human cost from failings of a dermatology service may not be fully understood until a harm review is completed. Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is currently scrutinising the actions of DMC Healthcare. Dermatology treatment The south London-based company had responsibility for treating skin disorders across north Kent for a year-and-a-half before it was taken away from them. There was a backlog involving patients who required urgent attention – including those for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The CCG has previously apologised for the delays which exposed people to the risk of harm .
