Pair accused of shoplifting £2k of goods from Bluewater

Bluewater Shopping Centre Two suspected shoplifters were arrested after using a metal security tag remover to steal over £2,000 worth of cosmetics and clothes from Bluewater Shopping Centre, it is alleged. The pair have since appeared in court and have been charged with theft, including over £1,000 of cosmetic items from just one shop. Kent Police Roxana Constantinescu and Constantin-robert Sogirdea, both of Solent Road, Worcester, Worcestershire, are accused of stealing cosmetics from Boots the Chemist, valued at £1,333.57, and the theft of clothing from House of Fraser worth £988. Kent Police said At around 2.40pm on Friday 16 April 2021, patrols attended a shopping centre following a report a man and a woman had been found to be in possession of a large quantity of suspected stolen property.

Gravesend man charged with attempted murder of officer

Kent Police arrest man for attempted murder in Gravesend Police have charged a Gravesend man with attempting to murder an officer after attacking with a knife. The man, aged 30, stabbed the officer in the arm after police raided his home over the alleged supply of cocaine and cannabis. Kuran Gill is reported to have committed the assault while a warrant was carried out at his home in Sun Marsh Way at around 6am on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. The officer sustained a serious injury to their left arm, which is consistent with a stab wound and was treated at a local hospital. He has since been discharged, but will require further treatment.
