Paul Duran
According to Mendocino County Sheriff Office’s Public Information Officer, Captain Greg Van Patten, Search and Rescue has been deployed to look for a man who has gone missing on his rural property off of Round Valley’s Mina Road. Last night, 58-year-old Paul Duran’s family found his ATV on a “remote part of the property” with a flat tire.
Scanner traffic from approximately 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, indicated Duran’s daughter was concerned for her father because she had not seen him for five days.
Captain Van Patten explained 58-year-old Paul Duran has been missing for several days last known to be riding his ATV around his 258-acre rural property off of Mina Road.
During a search of a steep wooded ravine on the property, searchers located Bonanno who was deceased. A coroner’s investigation has been initiated to determine the cause, mode and manner of death which is expected to take several weeks to determine due to BA/Toxicology testing (normal protocol).
The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all the public safety agencies and community members who assisted during the search.

Bonanno is 69 years old, and 5 feet, six inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.
