COVID-19 case numbers remain low in the Christian County Public School System, as they look forward to a school year without the pandemic making things complicated.
After a couple days with no new reported cases, there remains six active in-person student cases, one in the Virtual Learning Academy and zero active staff cases. Superintendent Chris Bentzel says they’re hopeful to keep that trend going, and more Virtual Learning Academy students are starting to return to in-person learning.

Enrollment for the Virtual Learning Academy in Christian County Public Schools is now open for parents to apply for their students to participate in next school year.
According to a news release from CCPS Spokesperson John Rittenhouse, enrollment is open from now until March 26 for students in grades 4 through 12 for students wanting to attend the Virtual Learning Academy in school year 2021-2022. Any new or currently enrolled students may complete the VLA Student Application students will be accepted based on the entry criteria outlined in the approved VLA plan available on the Christian County Public Schools website.
