Mercedes-Benz Reports 2020 Sales of 325,915 Vehicles
ATLANTA Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today reported Q4 2020 sales of 78,078 Mercedes-Benz models. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz Vans recorded Q4 sales of 17,228, bringing MBUSA to a grand total of 95,306 vehicles for the quarter, a decrease of 8.9% over the comparable period last year. On a year-to-date basis, MBUSA recorded sales of 274,916 Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles and 50,999 Vans. This brings MBUSA’s total year-to-date sales to 325,915 units, a decrease of 8.9% versus 2019. “I am both encouraged and impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit and commitment of our dealer partners to tirelessly deliver for our customers, amidst a host of unprecedented challenges in 2020,” said Dimitris Psillakis, President and CEO of MBUSA. “We are excited to introduce nine new models in the months ahead, including the all new S-Class and the EQS electric, and continue to leverage the natural market gravitation of SUVs.”

DMACC receives donation from Mercedes-Benz for automotive technology center Tuesday, December 22, 2020 3:09 PM Mercedes-Benz USA donated a 2015 C300 vehicle and a Xentry diagnosis kit to the Des Moines Area Community College Automotive Technology program, the first donation by Mercedes-Benz, DMACC announced this week. Students will use the vehicle and diagnosis kit at the Karl Chevrolet Automotive Technology Center on the Ankeny campus, which is scheduled to open in the spring semester. The renovated expansion will add more than 60,000 square feet, new classrooms, a student lounge and 22 additional vehicle work bays, DMACC said in a statement.
