Three teenage girls have been charged after allegedly attempting to carjack a woman, biting and threatening her with a screwdriver at a Melbourne shopping centre.
The girls, all aged 15, were arrested after the incident at a Cranbourne shopping centre on High Street, in the city s south-east, about 3.40pm yesterday.
Police allege the girls assaulted a 48-year-old woman from Clyde North after they attempted to steal the keys to her car.
