Producer Rachel Millar has been appointed as an Executive Producer of ABC Entertainment, managing the editorial and creative direction of shows including
Gruen, Spicks and Specks, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival broadcasts, and more.
She has more than 20 years experience in television production on ABC and all three commercial networks, plus ITV Studios, Roving Enterprises, and Guesswork Television.

Comedy can be about so much more than tinder dates and the differences between men and women. You can write jokes about anything! Science comedian and storyteller Alanta Colley will walk you through some of the basics about how to combine your passion or discipline with comedy. She’ll give you some techniques with which to draw upon your own life for comedy inspiration. We will also explore some of the science and structure of jokes.
Tour organiser Anna Brennan said Road Trippers was a welcome return to live performing.
“Coming out of a year where almost everything was cancelled, it’s great to be back on the road,” Ms Brennan said.
“Cancelling gigs isn’t just about lack of income, it’s also about lack of momentum. It’s hard to develop new material when you don’t have an audience to perform to.
“I’m so freaking excited to disgrace some stages up north.”

One of Australia s favourite comedy sons, Amos Gill is in equal measures hilarious, challenging and original. His comedy has won him fans and accolades across Australia and the USA, where he now lives and is recognised as one of the hottest prospects on their renowned comedy scene.
2020 being 2020 however, meant Amos had to stay in Australia when he returned to play the comedy festival circuit at the start of the year. Well America s loss is our gain and Amos has written a brand new hilarious hour of stand-up to take to Perth s FRINGE WORLD festival from Sun 17 - Sun 31 Jan and then Adelaide Fringe Festival from Fri 19 Feb - Sat 20 Mar.
