It s great to be home and involved in New South Wales cricket, said Bayliss, who also guided the Kolkata Knight Riders to two Indian Premier League titles. The Thunder have done well over the last few years. Hopefully we can go one or two steps further this summer. To win as many matches as possible and compete in the final is my number one goal.

Sydney, June 3 : The ball-tampering report that led to bans on batsmen David Warner, Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft should be made public, said David Saker, who was Australia s assistant coach in scandal-hit 2018 Cape Town Test. I can t see any point why it wouldn t be released, but that s up to Cricket Australia and the way they want to handle that, Saker told media just after being appointed as coach of Melbourne Renegades men s team. These questions keep coming up, if it s released then maybe the questions might stop but I don t think they will.

New Delhi, May 14 : Former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and England left-arm speedster Harry Gurney has decided to retire from cricket following a shoulder injury.
Gurney, 34, was part of KKR in 2019, and had picked up seven wickets in eight matches. His best figures of two for 25 came against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Nottingham-born Gurney played 10 ODIs and two T20 Internationals for England in 2014.
Gurney announced his retirement plans on social media. The time has arrived for me to hang up my boots. After trying to recover from the recent injury to my shoulder I am truly disappointed to have to end my playing career as a result of it, he wrote.
Melbourne Renegades appoint Simon Helmot as new head coach

Melbourne [Australia], May 10 (ANI): Melbourne Renegades on Monday confirmed the appointment of Simon Helmot as the club s head coach for the next two seasons of Women s Big Bash League (WBBL).
According to Renegades, Helmot brings vast international experience from the leading Twenty20 competitions across the globe. He replaces Lachlan Stevens who resigned last month.
The 49-year-old has held coaching roles in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Caribbean Premier League, Afghan Premier League, Bangladesh Premier League and the Big Bash League.
Helmot was the Renegades inaugural BBL coach and returned to the club last season as assistant coach of both the BBL and WBBL teams.
