Emily shared a photo to Instagram Stories of herself in a hospital bed, and wrote: Been admitted to hospital today with preeclampsia. Things don t look great unfortunately, and all headed down the horrible path I went down last pregnancy.
Challenges: Emily, 37, who is expecting her second child with husband Pierre Ghougassian in the coming months, said on Tuesday she d been hospitalised with preeclampsia Baby girl will be here soon, she told her followers. It may take me awhile to reply to messages from here on for a little while.
The makeup artist had been forced to seek medical treatment for preeclampsia in 2019 during her first pregnancy with daughter Laila - on the same weekend her baby shower was scheduled.

Last year comedian Tom Ballard thought he was feeling somewhat burnt out when it came to performing. Then lockdown started.
âI was getting to the point where it was just not as magic as it normally is â then you donât do it for eight months and you think, actually, this is really great.â
He concedes though, that he was nervous after such a long break. Aside from some âweirdâ gigs in that brief period between lockdowns last June, his gigs started to slowly come back at the end of last year.

This year, each of The Big HOO-HAA!’s three Comedy Festival shows showcases a different popular music genre. Show one sees the HOO-HAA crew head back to the golden years of disco. On night two, the cast travels to the American south for a good old-fashioned country and western hoedown. Then on night three, we’re whipping out our Viking horns for a soaring comedic opera experience to remember.

Like superheroes, stand up comics have their own unique origin stories.
For Prue Blake, it was two years ago when she was in a pizza cafe in Copenhagen, by chance listening to a Danish cover of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’, when a text came through. It was her ex-boyfriend, after they broke up only a few days earlier.
“Something about that just clicked something in me,” she recalls.
“We broke up on a Friday. I booked flights that day, left on the Sunday, went to Copenhagen for a week and then came back committed to stand up comedy,” she says.
