Accountant Mark Gray appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday where it was revealed he continued to finance the 26-year old s lavish lifestyle up until she threatened to make a false rape allegation against him just weeks before she was killed.
Ms Price was found with fatal stab wounds in her South Melbourne home on May 4 last year, but it s believed she died as early as five days beforehand.
Her boyfriend Ricardo Barbaro, 34, is charged with her murder and is facing a three-day preliminary hearing.

A man has been charged after he allegedly followed a 15-year-old girl into a public bathroom and raped her.
Police will allege that he raped the teen after following her into a public toilet block near a supermarket on Burgundy Street in Melbourne at about 1.20pm on Friday.
The 45-year-old man from Kew is facing charges of rape, sexual assault and false imprisonment.
Police have the man in custody and he is due to appear in court on July 30 after allegedly raping a young girl in a public toilet
They allege that the man then walked the victim to a nearby hotel where she managed to alert staff before police were called.
