Jammu and Kashmir records highest single-day spike with 4,650 fresh COVID cases

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday informed that 4,650 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (1463 from Jammu division and 3187 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 1,91,869.
Also 37 deaths have been reported, 25 from Jammu Division and 12 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 1878 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 631 from Jammu Division and 1247 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 191869 positive cases, 37302 are Active Positive, 152109 have recovered and 2458 have died; 1006 in Jammu division and 1452 in Kashmir division.

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday informed that 3733 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (1294 from Jammu division and 2439 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 187219.
Also 51 deaths have been reported, 35 from Jammu Division and 16 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 1536 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 626 from Jammu Division and 910 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 187219 positive cases, 34567 are Active Positive, 150231 have recovered and 2421have died; 981in Jammu division and 1440 in Kashmir division.
COVID-19: Jammu and Kashmir reports biggest daily spike of 3474 cases, 26 deaths
JAMMU: A record 3474 people have tested positive for novel coronavirus while 26 persons succumbed to the virus in the Jammu and Kashmir as per the government’s latest daily figure for last 24 hours on Thursday.
Among the new cases, official sources said that 1024 infections were from Jammu Division and 2134 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total case tally to 172551.
Providing district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 1017 cases, Baramulla 429, Budgam 268, Pulwama 137, Kupwara 71, Anantnag 228, Bandipora 51, Ganderbal 57, Kulgam 181, Shopian 11, Jammu 489, Udhampur 128, Rajouri 111, Doda 48, Kathua 58, Samba 77, Kishtwar 21, Poonch 32, Ramban 17 and Reasi 43.
Regarding the deaths, they said, seventeen were from Jammu and nine from Kashmir, taking the total fatality count to 2253.
