Amish furniture store relocating to Wash Park from Colorado Blvd.

Wash Park is getting a new furniture store.
The former site of Charcoal Bistro on Gaylord Street will become the new home for Modern Bungalow, an Amish furniture store that’s operated out of a strip mall along Colorado Boulevard in University Hills since 2003.
Danielle Sandusky and her husband Matt Hubbard purchased Modern Bungalow from its retiring former owners in 2017. They hadn’t ever run a retail outlet before, but knew at the time they would want to move the store eventually.
“When we walked in the store, it felt like being transported to a different world,” Sandusky said. “This does not belong here.”

Pose might be coming to an end, but star Mj Rodriguez already has another gig lined up, this time a comedy series.

Parks and Recreation writers Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard, Rodriguez will star in the Apple TV series alongside Maya Rudolph.
According to
Variety, the series follows Molly (Rudolph), a woman whose seemingly perfect life is upended after her husband leaves her with nothing but 87 billion dollars. Rodriguez will play Sofia, the hard-working executive director of the non-profit funded by her absentee billionaire boss, Molly.
But in that original draft, Damon becomes a sex worker. So he s out in the Piers surviving, and he has a pimp. That pimp gets murdered in the pilot. And so the core narrative of the first season was much darker than what the show became. By the end of the pilot, you know who s responsible for the murder. But it sort of becomes a cat-and-mouse narrative where you re like, Oh, no, are they going to get caught? Are they going to get arrested for this murder? Canals went on to add.
Pose season 3 currently airs on FX in the US, while a UK release date has not yet been confirmed.
