According to Adam Caplan, the team has added two more assistants to Nick Sirianni’s staff: Joe Kasper and Tyler Brown. JOE KASPER Kasper is joining the Eagles as a defensive quality control coach. He played safety at Baldwin Wallace University (Division III) and entered the NFL in a front office role before getting into coaching. Here’s a snapshot of his experience:

They had been in the boat line business for a long time, so they asked Neil McCarney to work on improving the company’s financial picture while looking for a suitable buyer. “After having reached out to several potential buyers I entered a negotiation with a company called Entertainment Cruises based out of Chicago,” he said. “They seemed to be a perfect fit with pretty much the same direction as I had for the company. A deal was reached, and the company was sold on May 1, 2019.

Invinity Flow Battery Costs Fell 30% Post-Merger, Says Exec

When two of the long-duration flow battery sector’s leaders ran into problems, a frequent partner, vanadium producer Bushveld Minerals, suggested they should discuss a merger. The U.K.’s RedT Energy and U.S. firm Avalon completed that process in March. The synergies Bushveld identified have played out, and the new firm, Invinity, has been picking up project wins and is now focusing on cutting the cost of its systems and ramping up growth, Invinity CCO Matt Harper said in an interview. “We re probably [at] 20 to 30 percent lower cost today than what RedT was building about a year ago,” he said.  “[We’ve] dramatically increased the longevity and reliability, and we’ll continue that process.”

Invinity teams up with Scottish Water for £2m solar-plus-storage site

Image: Scottish Water Work has started on Scottish Water’s latest solar installation, which is also set to include Invinity Energy Systems vanadium flow batteries. The £2 million project is the largest single solar energy investment made by Scottish Water Horizons and will see 1MW of solar installed on land adjoining the Perth Waste Water Treatment Works by Absolute Solar and Wind. The 2,520 solar panels will be co-located with four vanadium flow batteries capable of storing up to 0.8MWh of energy. These will be provided by Invinity and are to be assembled at its manufacturing and testing facility in Bathgate, West Lothian.
