A 56-year-old man was transported to hospital after a car vs. motorcycle collision in Saskatoon on Wednesday morning.
According to a press release from Medavie Health Services West, paramedics responded to the crash at 6:13 a.m. on Idylwyld Drive North. The man, who was riding the motorcycle, was transported to Royal University Hospital in stable condition.

Medavie Health Services West says their paramedics were called out at 5:32 pm on Saturday to help an 8 year old boy who had been pulled from the river.
Medavie says their paramedics learned that the 8 year old and his 7 year old cousin were on the river bank when the older child slipped and fell into the river. The current quickly swept him from the shoreline and into immediate danger.
Brad and his wife Ashley Pilon were running along Meewasin Trail and heard the boy screaming he couldn’t swim. Brad Pilon ran into the river and was able to grab the boy, who had already gone under once, and swim him back to the shore.
Two boys on the shoreline of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon were fortunate Brad Pilon was nearby when one of them slipped into the water. P.
