Grey s Anatomy continues to pull at our heartstrings with yet another reunion of characters past, this time between beloved former couple April Kepner (Sarah Drew) and Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams). Williams first offered a glimpse at their behind-the-scenes reunion on March 16, in a video of him casually walking into his van, only to find Drew popping up right behind him. Drew also shared an adorable selfie of the masked two shortly after, writing, Nbd. Not excited at all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️☺️☺️☺️.
Fans last saw Drew s character, April, in the season 14 finale three years ago, where she married Matthew Taylor (Justin Bruening) and resigned from Grey Sloan to provide medical care for the homeless. Camilla Luddington confirmed Monday that she saw Drew on set last week, responding to a fan asking if she had crossed paths with her yet. I did happen to run into a gorgeous red head I have missed SO. DAMN. MUCH!! she excitedly tweeted.

Grey s following the season 14 finale after nine seasons. Her departure at the time came unexpectedly. She was first introduced midway through season 6 when Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital merged with Mercy West. Her character has a young daughter, Harriet, with Williams Jackson Avery.
