This is not science. We the public are tired of this incessant stream of prognostications which, in the recent past, have often been wide of the mark. We have wised up to a deliberate government policy of creating fear so as to generate compliance with endless diktats. We are still none the wiser as to the proportion of Covid-positive people who are actually ill, and I’m sure we are not going to be told.
