Matthew Walters s blog: Nine years is shorter than you d think - why fleet managers need to prepare for 2030 now

Date: 06 May 2021 2030. We all know what it means. In just nine years time, a ban will come into place preventing the sale of new conventional petrol and diesel cars and vans.   The fossil-fuelled vehicles that have been our preferred mode of transport for decades are on the way out. The future is electric, perhaps hydrogen electric. One day, our country will see net-zero emissions, and that goal is being driven by consumers and businesses alike.  In the grand scheme of things, nine years isn t long at all. In terms of leasing contracts, it could be just two cycles. That s why it s so important for fleet managers to proactively look ahead rather than taking a passive approach.

It hurts me to admit but the lord called me home the morning of May 2 2021. he said he was full of angels right now but he needed someone to work the door. I obliged. Leaving being are my two children I have tolerated over the years, Robyn Garland and her life partner Kevin Hester as well as Matthew Walters and his life partner Michelle Mitchell. Beating me to the punch my son Jeffrey Garland. he always did like to “upstage” everyone. I was born October 3,1946 the first daughter of Freeman Jeter and Naomi Robertson Jeter. life was good for awhile until a year later Brenda Joyce came. Irish twins they called us. I thought we were Scottish. then came Freenetta Jean, then Betsy Jane. The little two-story house in Jeter town was a happening place.

London is now the biggest market in the world for top-end homes So who buys them?

As one of the most expensive residential property purchases ever made public, it was inevitable that Telis Mistakidis would hit the headlines when he bought his £46.1million London apartment. The Greek tycoon’s 7,900-square-foot Belgravia duplex was one of six built by Candy & Candy in the capital’s former BT telephone exchange.  From the extravagant staff quarters to the hefty £3.2 million stamp duty bill, every decadent detail of the sale was pored over in 2015. Every detail, that is, apart from the name of the woman who brokered the deal. In the background, guiding negotiations at every stage, was property agent Becky Fatemi, whose exclusive firm the retired mining mogul Mistakidis, 58, had enlisted.

Sternlicht s Jaws Spitfire SPAC, Velo3D said to discuss merger

(March 11): Barry Sternlicht’s Jaws Spitfire Acquisition Corp is in talks to merge with Velo3D, a maker of 3D metal printers, according to people with knowledge of the matter. A transaction to take Velo3D public is set to value the combined entity at more than US$1 billion, one of the people said. Terms aren’t finalized and it’s possible that talks could collapse. Representatives for Velo3D and Jaws declined to comment. Campbell, California-based Velo3D, led by founder and CEO Benny Buller, specializes in technology for 3D metal printing and has touted its ability to manufacture previously impossible geometries.
