The Columbia Board of Education announced its shortlist of superintendent candidates Monday.
A release sent out before noon said the board of education has narrowed the search to three candidates. The board hopes to have a new superintendent selected by the end of the month.
Monday night, the board of education is expected to discuss an update on the superintendent search. The board s meeting agenda said many other items will be discussed, including a consideration to send students to in-person classes five days a week.
