Richland County’s Black and Brown Community Input Needed
Richland County, Ohio –Count On Me Richland County is seeking the input from Richland County’s Black and Brown community through a readily available survey. Survey results will be used to create tailored educational materials about COVID-19 so individuals can make the best decisions about their health. Results could also lead to additional services that make it easier to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
“We are on a mission to educate, advocate for, and serve our Black and Brown community members during this pandemic and our main goal is to reduce the incidence of disease and death from COVID-19 through prevention,” said Dr. Julie Chaya, Director of Community Health & Prevention Sciences at Richland Public Health and leader of the Count On Me Richland County initiative. “But, in order for us and our community partners to allocate our resources effectively for upcoming initiatives, we need to hear directly f

Local Medical Business, and Community Experts Address Recovery and COVID-19 in Virtual Town Halls
Richland County, Ohio -When will the pandemic be over? What will life look like after the pandemic? Will I need a COVID-19 vaccination every year?
Local medical, business, and community experts will address these questions, and many more, at three special Virtual Town Halls, scheduled to be livestreamed on Richland Public Health’s Facebook page at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, Tuesday, April 20 and Wednesday, April 21.
General questions from the public will be answered during the special broadcasts. Pre-submitted questions can be emailed tochps@richlandhealth.org. Real-time questions can be submitted on Richland Public Health’s Facebook page, or by calling 419-774-4761 anytime throughout the live broadcasts.
