MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio â Two males were shot and killed in Maple Heights Saturday afternoon and a homicide investigation is underway, according to the Maple Heights Police Department.
Around 1:13 p.m., officers were called to the area of Gardenview Drive and Mayville Avenue for a report of two people shot.
Once on scene, officers found two males in a vehicle, both with multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies.
Police said one of the males was pronounced dead at the scene while the second male was transported to Marymount Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A 17-year-old was shot twice in the chest in Maple Heights on Thursday, according to a press release from the Maple Heights police department.
The boy was alert and talking and is currently in critical but stable condition, according to the release.
The victim told police he was walking on Warrensville Center Road near the Libby Road intersection when two males approached him.
“Words were exchanged, and one of the male suspects pulled a gun out of his pocket and shot the victim twice in the chest,” according to the release.
