Thunderstorms bringing rain and hail will hit much of the southern Plains on Monday, with downfalls of more than three inches possible from south-central Oklahoma to north-central Texas.

The National Weather Service says all forms of severe weather are possible today.
Meteorologist Jeff Raberding says the main threat will be from strong winds, large hail, and flash flooding.
“The threat is anytime really, I think, from late morning all the way through the early evening hours. And it’s really through the heart of the Ozarks the Springfield, Joplin, Rolla areas pretty much the entire area is under that risk.”
