Buick recently introduced its newest SUV for the Chinese market: the Buick Envision Plus. No official announcements have been made, but there’s a good chance this model could soon be sold in the U.S. as the Envision GX.
Classified as a premium midsize SUV, the Envision Plus slots into the Buick lineup just above the compact Envision. The two models share many of the same design cues, but the Envision Plus is several inches longer to accommodate an available third row.

The online configurator tool for the 2021 Buick Envision officially launched on the automaker’s website this week, allowing users to customize their own version of the new compact crossover.
As
GM Authorityreported previously, pricing for the second-generation Buick Envision starts at $32,995 for the entry-level Preferred trim level including destination. Moving to the next trim level, the mid-range Essence, sees the price swell to $36,995. The range-topping Avenir model, meanwhile, starts at $41,200 with destination.
All 2021 Buick Envision models come standard with front-wheel-drive, though a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system is available across the board for a $1,800 price premium.
The only available engine in the 2021 Buick Envision is a turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gas engine, which produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a standard GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
