PASIG CITY, Feb. 23 (PIA) The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Lalamove Philippines signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to curb illegal activities in the country that utilize online delivery services.
NCRPO Chief Police Major General Vicente D. Danao, Jr. expressed his sincere gratitude to Lalamove Philippines in assisting the government to help eliminate dangerous drugs and to fight all forms of criminality, terrorism and other illegal activities.
According to the NCRPO, the MOU synchronizes efforts to prevent the delivery and/or transportation of packages containing any illegal drugs and controlled precursors, essential chemicals in the country, and all instruments which may be used or connected with any illegal activities. Likewise, to ensure that accredited drivers of said courier service are not involved in any illegal activity.
