Months’ worth of missed birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Days, Father’s Days, and even Christmas. It was wonderful to finally be together on the sunny, hot day, where we had decided on an outside dinner of surf and turf with three generations of family members. Joy and laughter abounded as we smiled over the cracking of shellfish.
