Upon the retirement of Mountain View Police Chief Max Bosel and the promotion of current Deputy Police Chief Chris Hsiung to Bosel’s position later this month, Police Capt. Jessica Nowaski has been tapped to succeed Hsiung. Nowaski, 49, is the first female to serve in the law enforcement agency’s second-in-command role.
