Pedestrian in ICU after Franklin County hit-and-run: state police Updated Jan 26, 2021; A 58-year-old man was forced to undergo multiple surgeries and remains hospitalized after he was hit by a car last week in Quincy Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. A passerby found the man Jan. 23 around 7:23 p.m. lying near the guardrail on the 9600 block of Tomstown Road, state police said. State police said he had a broken right arm, back injuries and other internal injuries which required multiple surgeries. As of Tuesday he is in the ICU at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Investigators believe the man was hit by a gray 2009-2013 GMC 1500 Sierra SLT, or 2009-2013 GMC 1500 Sierra Denali. The vehicle likely has damage to its driver’s side, including a missing side mirror, broken headlight lens and yellow turn signal.

Woman captured in Elkton after no-show for vehicular manslaughter sentencing

ELKTON â A woman is back in custody after she failed to appear for sentencing last week in a criminal case relating to her causing a chain-reaction crash that killed two Cecil County men near Chesapeake City in October 2018, according to the Elkton Police Department and court records. EPD officers and members of the agencyâs Street Crimes Unit captured the defendant, Kimberly Ann Morgan, 30, of Chester, Pa., on Thursday while raiding a residence in the unit block of Hollingsworth Manor, police said. The court-approved search yielded two loaded handguns, one of which had been reported stolen in Wilmington, Del., police added.
