Route 90 closed due to serious crash on bridge involving four vehicles Salisbury Daily Times OCEAN CITY, Md. Route 90 is closed in both directions due to a multi-vehicle accident on the bridge, according to the Ocean City Police Department.  The Maryland Department of Transportation later released that the crash involved four vehicles. The Ocean City Fire Department added on Facebook that Ocean City fire, EMS and police units are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash on the Route 90 bridge. Paramedics have treated and transported multiple priority patients, and Maryland State Police Aviation was utilized. Numerous mutual aid fire department ambulances assisted along with the Maryland State Police.

A child was rescued by a bystander after being ejected from a vehicle and into a Maryland bay Sunday afternoon during a crash on a bridge , the fire department said. The child was in a vehicle that was teetering over the guardrail of the Route 90 bridge over Assawoman Bay, the Ocean City Fire Department said in a Facebook post.  A good Samaritan immediately jumped over the guardrail and into the bay, rescuing the infant, the fire department said.

A child was ejected from a vehicle and into the water during a multivehicle crash on the Route 90 bridge in Ocean City on Sunday afternoon, the town s fire department said. At least eight people were injured. First responders were dispatched to the scene at 2:47 p.m. and found one vehicle hanging off the side of the bridge, according to a Facebook post from the Ocean City Fire Department. Four vehicles were involved, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation. During the collision, a pediatric patient was ejected from the car teetering over the guardrail and landed in the Assawoman Bay, the Ocean City Fire Department wrote in a Facebook post.  A good Samaritan immediately jumped over the guardrail and into the bay, rescuing the infant.
