Two graduate from WGU
SALT LAKE CITY Jeremiah Wagner, of Cardington, has earned a Master of Science, Management and Leadership degree from Western Governors University (WGU). The online, nonprofit university has graduated over 218,000 students from across the country since its inception in 1997.
Ashley Harper, of Edison, has earned a Bachelor of Arts, Interdisciplinary Studies (K-8) degree from Western Governors University.
WGU has recognized 14,146 undergraduate and 15,640 graduate degree recipients, who have completed their degrees since July 2, 2020. Their areas of study include business, K-12 education, information technology, and health professions, including nursing.

Local students named to Western New England University’s Dean’s List
SPRINGFIELD Close to 750 students have been named to the Fall 2020 Dean’s List at Western New England University. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must achieve a GPA of 3.30 or higher.
The following students have earned their place on Western New England University’s distinguished Dean’s List:
■Zachary French, of Phillipston, working toward a BSE in Mechanical Engineering.
■Mica Van Iderstine, of New Salem, working toward a BSE in Biomedical Engineering.
■Logan Barrett, of Petersham, working toward a Doctor of Pharmacy.

SALT LAKE CITY Local students have earned an Award of Excellence at Western Governors University College. The award is given to students who perform at a superior level in their coursework.
Students include Jim Savage of West Gardiner, College of Health Professions; Kayla Fournier of Clinton, College of Business; Michelle Caminos of Oakland, College of Health Professions; Kimberly Simpson of Oakland, University Teachers College; and Melissa Slininger of Sidney, College of Business.
