Car crashes into home during shootings in West Sacramento

One dead, another injured and a car crashed into a home after a wild morning in West Sacramento West Sacramento police said there were two victims of the dual shootings. One died on the scene and the other was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Author: Samantha Solomon (ABC10) Updated: 8:42 AM PDT May 6, 2021 WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. Update:  West Sacramento police now say that there were two separate shootings in the same area of Cummins Way on Thursday morning.  One person has died as a result of the incident and another person is in the hospital in critical condition. In a press release, Sergeant Stefan Iwanicki, spokesperson for the West Sacramento Police Department, said police received calls about shots fired and the sound of cars speeding away near the 600 block of Cummins Way. At the same time, there were further calls about a car crash on the same block.
