Sometime around 4:30am today someone in a first gen CR-V broke into my Audi and attempted to steal it. Couldn’t make out the color due to IR camera but I think it was the one from article. No luck and they drove away in the CR-V. Hope your car was recovered in good order.

I swear I just saw the truck zooming up and down California Avenue in between Andover and Hines, but a second pass happened and I’m fairly sure the truck I saw is a Dodge Ram, not a Ford. I’m telling you though, I had a close up of the truck and it had the same Iron Cross bumper guard and a black box in the back. Same color. So there might be almost an identical truck going around West Seattle right now that is not the stolen truck.

What a nightmare, both cases. Sorry to hear it.

If this is a new truck, it should be able to be located. I have a new one, model isn’t as nice as this, and the Ford Pass application on my phone can show me it’s last GPS location. Maybe worth a shot?

Professional thieves often can use devices to block these gps signals. And if a thief can steal a car this nice they most likely have those devices.

Hi the silver truck is my dads, I believe it is a 2009 if I remember correctly. I’m not sure if that specific model has tracking and if it does I don’t think my dad had it long enough to set it up. How would you go about tracking it if it did happen to have a device in it?
