WE NOW KNOW FROM POLICE THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. THIS WASN T AN ACTIVE SHOOTER SITUATION. HOWEVER, OUR DEPARTMENT JUST TAKING PRECAUTIONS TREATED IT AS SO. NOW, 21-YEAR-OLD TREQUEZ SWIFT IS DEAD. OMAHA, Neb. - A teenage boy suspected in a shooting at a Nebraska mall that left one man dead and a woman injured was arrested Sunday on a murder warrant, police said.
Omaha Police said 16-year-old Makhi Woolridge-Jones is facing a first-degree murder charge in the shooting Saturday at the Westroads Mall in Omaha. Brandon Woolridge-Jones, 18, was earlier arrested on a charge of being an accessory to the shooting.

Authorities responded to a shooting at Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday, April 17. (CNN)A person has died after being shot Saturday at Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska, police said.
The victim, described as an adult male, was taken by ambulance to Bergan Mercy Hospital in critical condition and died there, according to a news release from Omaha Police Department. His identity has not been released yet by police.
Later, an adult female later walked into Immanuel Hospital with gunshot injuries that were not life-threatening and said she was shot at the mall, police said.
Shooting Incident at Westroads Mall. One victim was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. Suspects fled the scene and are at large. OPD is searching the entire mall as a precaution.
