Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. is selling its West Side campus as the insurance and financial services company moves to a hybrid work model across the U.S., a change spurred by the coronavirus pandemic.
The roughly 270,000-square-foot facility off of Texas 151 in Westover Hills can accommodate 2,000 employees, though the complex has not been full for some time, the Ohio-based company said Tuesday. Nationwide now employs about 900 local workers, who primarily handle property and casualty insurance claims.
