SHALLOTE, N.C. (WECT) - The West Brunswick Trojans football team fell to Clayton, 27-16, in the second round of the 3AA state playoffs.
West Brunswick finishes 7-2 on the season behind strong performances from transfer quarterback Monzelle Campbell and a strong group of players on the offensive line.
Elsewhere, Hoggard fell to Rolesville, 47-30, knocking them out of the 4AA state playoff bracket. The Vikings finish the season 7-1.

ORWIGSBURG, Pa. - Two people got into a fight after a road rage confrontation on a Schuylkill County road, and one died after he was stabbed multiple times, state police said.
Police in Schuylkill County said the two were in a sedan and a truck both heading south on Route 61, and they left their vehicles and engaged in a physical confrontation Monday in West Brunswick Township.
Police said one produced a knife and stabbed the other multiple times. The victim, identified as 38-year-old George Marcincin of Orwigsburg, was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner s office.
