Nandigram / Kolkata: Massive turnout, marked by sporadic violence, marked the second phase of voting for the West Bengal Legislative Assembly as Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reprimanded the Election Commission for inaction over complaints filed for her party.
Minor clashes and minor skirmishes were reported from various constituencies including high profile Nandigram where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee along with her former lieutenant Suvendu Adhari are now locked in a high-level electoral battle with the BJP.
Agitated, Banerjee pulled up the Election Commission for not taking any action despite filing several complaints and threatening to go to court over it.
