COVID-19 vaccine appointments available in Ottawa County

HOLLAND Eligible individuals are encouraged to sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine if they have not received one already. The Ottawa County Department of Public Health has announced multiple clinics for anyone 16 and older, regardless of which county they reside in; people can sign up for to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  Individuals can visit the OCDPH website at miottawa.org/health/ochd/coronavirus to schedule an appointment. Some OCDPH vaccine clinics will allow walk-ins while supplies are available, but vaccine-seekers are encouraged to schedule an appointment. Clinics announced this week include: From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, at St. Patrick and St. Anthony Parish at  920 Fulton Street in Grand Haven. OCDPH will provide the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, with the second dose scheduled for May 25. Walk-ins are accepted from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., based on supply.

I know you re wondering what about the 16 and 17-year old young people who want to get the vaccine? No problem here, but anyone 16 and 17 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Fox17 reported that anyone who participates will receive the Pfizer vaccine.

West Michigan Vaccine clinic accepting walk-ins Tuesday, Wednesday Courtesy ASM Global The West Michigan Vaccine Clinic will be administering free COVID-19 vaccinations from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday for anyone who is 18 or older and has not received a first vaccine dose. No appointment is necessary. Those aged 16 and 17 also may participate but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Free parking is available at DeVos Place (enter the north parking entrance from the West on Michigan Street or the south parking entrance from the East on Lyon Street) and at the Government Center Ramp across the street from DeVos Place. The ramp can be accessed off Ottawa Avenue or one of the two Monroe Avenue entrances. Bring parking tickets to the clinic for validation.
