A top cop has revealed that the body of a newborn baby boy that was pulled from a Walsall canal could have been in the water for up to four days .
Two cars were involved in a collision at the junction of Oak Lane and Stallings Lane. Paramedics were called to the scene at 11:22 this morning and treated three patients for minor injuries. They were then taken to Russell s Hall Hospital for further assessment. A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11:22am to reports of a two car RTC at the junction of Oak Lane and Stallings Lane. We sent two ambulances and two paramedic officers to the scene. Crews treated three patients, all for minor injuries, and they were conveyed to Russell’s Hall Hospital for further assessment.”

Emergency services have descended on a city centre block of flats.
Witnesses spotted at least two fire engines on Hordley Street, in Hanley, at around 10.50pm last night.
And further images of the scene show police and paramedics were also at the scene of what is believed to be Westwood Court.

Paramedics confirm man taken to hospital
West Midlands Ambulance Service say a man was taken to hospital. A spokeswoman said: We were called at 11:12pm to a patient in Hordley Street. We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a North Staffs BASICS doctor. Crews treated one patient, a man, and he was conveyed to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment.”

Two men were hurt as a car overturned in a two-car crash on a busy route straddling Birmingham and Worcestershire.
Three ambulances were sent to the scene on the A435 in Wythall, a short distance from Maypole, following the collision shortly after 6pm last night, May 19.
