Efforts to save man suffering medical emergency on train at Old Hill station

Pic: Google POLICE and paramedics were called to a train at Old Hill station as a man suffered a medical emergency . Passengers from the carriage were evacuated and efforts to save the man by administering CPR were being made when medics arrived. A witness reported seeing the carriage evacuated and police and medics in white overalls at the scene at the station on Station Road, Old Hill, at 5.44pm yesterday (Monday April 26). A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a medical emergency on a train which had stopped at Old Hill Station. We sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene.

Lucas Teckoe, who was studying Marketing Management, was found in a critical condition at The Maltings, Granville Street on the morning of Monday, April 26.

Emergency services called to crash in Worcester

Emergency services were called to a crash in Lansdowne Road, Worcester this afternoon. Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed firefighters attended a road traffic collision in Lansdowne Road, by the junction with Rainbow Hill. Multiple police cars were at the scene in Lansdowne Road, which was cordoned off due to the incident.  Two ambulances, a critical care paramedic and an air ambulance were also called to the scene but have now left. A spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: We were called at 3:50pm to Lansdowne Road in Worcester. We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a critical care paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham.”
