Pic: Google A WOMAN was led to safety after a fire broke out in Dudley this morning. The fire at a three-storey property in Porter Street South, Dudley, broke out in the basement just before 8.30am today (Wednesday April 7). The woman was led out of the building by firefighters and was treated by medics. Gas and electricity services were isolated by firefighters. A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: Three fire engines from Brierley Hill, Dudley and Haden Cross and 15 firefighters attended the scene. They added: Crews led a female to safety using a fire escape hood, who was then tended to by ambulance colleagues at the scene.
