The crash happened on Sutton Park Road at around 4:45pm. One individual also freed themselves from the car before crews arrived. Emergency services have closed a road in Worcester due to an incident this afternoon. Multiple police cars were at the scene in Lansdowne Road, by the junction with Rainbow Hill, and two ambulances are also at the scene. An eye witness saw an air ambulance landing near to the scene at around 4pm. Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters attended a crash in Lansdowne Road earlier today. In a tweet, West Mercia Operations and Communications Centre said: Worcester City, Lansdowne Road junc Rainbow Hill closed due to incident, emergency services at scene. Emergency services were called to a crash in Lansdowne Road, Worcester this afternoon. Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed firefighters attended a road traffic collision in Lansdowne Road, by the junction with Rainbow Hill. Multiple police cars were at the scene in Lansdowne Road, which was cordoned off due to the incident. Two ambulances, a critical care paramedic and an air ambulance were also called to the scene but have now left. A spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: We were called at 3:50pm to Lansdowne Road in Worcester. We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a critical care paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham.”
