Tennessee Fans Are Furious With Phil Fulmer’s Statement Tonight

Tennessee Director of Athletics Phil Fulmer may have just indicated the head coaching future of the Volunteers heading into next season.
After finishing the year with a disappointing 3-7 record, most of Tennessee nation feels it’s time the program moved on from head coach Jeremy Pruitt. Aside from a solid 8-5 season and Gator Bowl victory in 2019, Pruitt’s three-year tenure has been marred with losing records. A 16-19 overall record simply doesn’t cut it for a high-profile SEC program like UT.
Entering the Pac-12 Championship game week last year, the Ducks were playing for a chance to compete in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl, one of the iconic venues in sports.Â
This season has been different for the Ducks. Despite two late season losses, the Ducks still find themselves in a position to win the Pac-12 Championship against USC. Unlike last season however, the chances that the Ducks land a bowl game with the caliber of the Rose Bowl are slim.Â
Even with a loss to USC, Oregon will still qualify for a bowl game. Here are three possible bowl game predictions for the Ducks based on conference and record.Â
