Upper Ottawa Valley OPP investigating snowmobile theft in Head, Clara and Maria

Article content HEAD, CLARA AND MARIA TWP. – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of a blue 2000 Yamaha SRX 700 snowmobile. The snowmobile was parked along Bissett Creek Road in Head, Clara and Maria Township near the entrance to Algonquin Park when it was stolen sometime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Jan. 15. Ontario marker 883639 is displayed on the snowmobile. Article content Two drivers are facing charges and a third was issued a licence suspension, all related to different instances of drinking and driving over the Christmas holidays. Upper Ottawa Valley OPP investigating hardware store break-ins in Petawawa and Laurentian Valley

Article content PETAWAWA – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after a break and enter to a Petawawa home improvement business during the overnight hours of Dec. 20 to 21. Lumber products were stolen in the incident. On the same night, various items of merchandise including snow blowers and a generator were also stolen from a hardware store in Laurentian Valley Township. The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began investigating a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that took place at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 13 after a vehicle left the roadway while turning from Paul Martin Drive onto Townline Road.
