Jon Culshaw: I want to play Doctor Who, not just impersonate Tom Baker

Jon Culshaw grew up in Lancashire When I was 12, I joined the local dramatic society and would take part in the pantomimes. I played a lot of animals in those days. Animals that needed accents. An American bear who sounded somewhere between Ronald Reagan and John Wayne. A Scouse rabbit; I think I’d watched Boys from the Blackstuff and did them in a higher pitch. I played a tax inspector when I was 14; I did Jacob Rees-Mogg then, decades before I even knew who he was. I also loved doing accents. I never really thought they might end up being a job, but I did love watching Mike Yarwood. I sat up and paid extra attention when he was on television on a Saturday night.

With that cargo worth tens of billions of dollars and some individual shipments valued as high as $70 million one thing is certain: Crooks will try to steal some of it. For freight haulers, the vaccine rollout poses “the biggest security challenge in a generation,” says Thorsten Neumann, chief executive officer of the European arm of the Transported Asset Protection Association, an industry group representing companies that carry precious goods.
