The attorney for a former Simpson College professor charged with killing her husband alleged her client was coerced into giving damning statements and that she was not properly given Miranda warnings in interviews with police before she was arrested. Gowun Park, 42, was charged last year with first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping after her husband Sung Woo Nam died in their West Des Moines home.
