Recently launched by the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar, and the Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications and Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan, the Climate Enterprise Action Fund includes three supports that companies supported by Enterprise Ireland can access to assist on their sustainability journey. These are: - Climate Action Voucher – a €1,800 grant to engage consultants to develop plans in areas such as resource efficiency and renewable energy.

Three Galway firms support the rollout of 30 jobs

Galway Bay FM 30 December 2020 The Enterprise Ireland supported companies are working in a variety of high growth areas. Palliare, a medical device company, has hired 10 new employees in recent months Ronspot, a technology company which enables the flexible workplace between office and home, intends to have a total of 10 new employees on board by Spring 2021, and has hired five people since September. Venari Medical filled three new positions in October and have plans to recruit up to 10 new employees in the coming months. Enterprise Ireland Regional Director Michael Brougham says it’s been a challenging year for businesses but many Irish exporting companies are continuing to grow and recruit talented, innovative employees.

97 jobs to be created in the Midlands by Empower Eco €1.1m investment from the Just Transition Fund and others Reporter: );   ); A new economic and environment stimulus partnership has secured funding to progress several ‘firsts’ for the Midlands, that will mobilise the next generation of green-enterprise innovators and stimulate regional job creation. Empower Eco was formed in the early days of Ireland’s March lockdown as a collaboration between Athlone Institute of Technology, Bord na Móna, Enterprise Ireland, Offaly County Council, LEO Offaly, Limerick Institute of Technology, Maynooth University, and Kilcormac Development Association. It is chaired by Rita Shah, founder and CEO of Shabra Plastics and Recycling Limited.
