A gamer has been praised after helping snare a suspected burglar in his Sunderland home A QUICK-thinking gamer has been praised by police after he helped snare a suspected burglar who burst into his home as he played on his PlayStation. The victim was sat in his living room on when he heard a suspicious noise from his kitchen on Monday afternoon. After poking his head in to check what the noise was, he came face-to-face with an intruder and instinctively took hold of him. The suspected raider tried to get away, but the homeowner managed to corner him in the rear yard and rang police.
Northumbria Police have arrested two on the list of 12 burglary suspects. POLICE are hunting down a list of wanted burglary suspects who have committed crimes in Northumberland. Officers are appealing for the public s help in a bid to arrest those on the naughty list before Christmas day. Police have appealed for help to track down Martin Brown, Shane Collins, Lawrence Connor, Luke Cowan, Thomas Grant, Jason Hutchinson, Dean Jackson, Dylan Newall, Christopher Newton and William Thompson TEN men have been placed on the naughty list by police who are appealing for help from the public to track down the wanted burglary suspects. This week Northumbria Police asked for help to locate individuals believed to be responsible for home invasions across their Force area. They released details of 12 men suspected of burglary offences in a bid to have them arrested before Christmas Day. Also included were a number of suspects wanted on a prison recall after previously being convicted of burglary or robbery.
