Microsoft Flight Simulator is continuing to get new content from third-party developers and today isn’t an exception, with releases and more sneak peeks.
We take a new look at DC Designs’ F-14 Tomcat add-on, which is in very active development, as you can read in the update provided by the developer.
Still from Aerosoft, La Palma Airport (GCLA) in the Canaries Islands has been released and is now available for €20.45 including applicable VAT.
Next on the list, is NZA Simulations, which announced the release date of the Australian airports YMHB Hobart and YCBG Cambridge in Tasmania.
Purchasing both after March 19 will grant a 30% bundle discount.

Gaya Simulations has announced ENCN Kristiansand Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Prepar3D is out now.
The package is an accurate rendition of Kristiansand Airport with detailed buildings and interior modelling for the terminal and control tower. Other highlights include optional static aircraft and ground service equipment with the correct branding and vehicle types. Custom animations are incorporated throughout along with night lighting (taxi/runway lights and approach lamps).
Both the airport and surrounding area have been modelled with ultra-high-definition ground textures as well as winter effects such as snow on the ground and rooftops to capture Norwegian winters. Extensive use of ortho imagery for all of Kristiansand City and for approach over the Topdalsfjorden Fjord.
Microsoft Flight Simulator Update III Released

Asobo Studio has announced Sim Update III is now available for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator platform.
The new version adds a host of features such as visible contrails on the player s aircraft and an option to match aircraft to specific real-world examples. Refinements have been made to the in-sim aircraft such as a more accurate centre of gravity, fuselage wear on older aircraft results in higher parasitic drag and adjustments have been made to the control surface limits.
Various improvements and fixes continue to be made to the avionics, autopilot and FMS systems along with additional functionality. The glass cockpits for general aviation aircraft have also seen some bug fixes applied and the engine modelling and flight dynamics for general aviation and airliners have been improved as well as updates to the aircraft lighting.
T-45C Goshawk Ready for Take-Off

IndiaFoxtEcho and MilViz have announced the T-45C Goshawk for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.
The T-45 began as a joint venture between McDonnell Douglas and British Aerospace in the 1970s to replace the T-2 Buckeye and A-4 Skyhawk as a carrier-capable trainer. It is a highly modified version of the British-built BAe Hawk, making its maiden flight in 1988. Today it is used as a training aircraft by the US Navy and Marine Corps for carrier operations and tactical strike missions.
The T-45C Goshawk for Microsoft Flight Simulator was developed as a collaboration between IndiaFoxtEcho and Military Visualizations. It features a highly detailed exterior model and cockpit, including an instructor seat.
