UMaine Extension to offer Tidewater Farm garden tours

The UMaine Extension Gardens at Tidewater Farm on Farm Gate Road in Falmouth will be the site of weekly garden tours offered by the University of Maine Cooperative Extension. Tours will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Thursday, Aug. 5-26.

FALMOUTH University of Maine Cooperative Extension is to offer weekly garden tours from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Thursday from Aug. 5 to 26 at the UMaine Extension Gardens at Tidewater Farm, Farm Gate Road.
Each tour will feature a different topic and begins with the cut flower garden, followed by growing herbs in Maine, native plants for the Maine garden, and beginner vegetable gardening.
