Posted on February 23, 2021 by dmartignetti We speak with Ken Janson, longtime Mary’s Walk committee member, talking about this years Virtual Event.  Mary’s Walk remembers Mary Kerry Libby who passed away from Burkett’s Lymphoma on March 7, 1997. Her memory keeps our hope alive. Ken Janson is on  the planning committee for Mary’s Walk and the Kerrymen 5K, a cancer fundraising organization based in Saco, Maine. He was at the first event in 1999 and started volunteering on the committee in 2001.  All proceeds raised by Mary’s Walk benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation to fund research grants, early detection screening, patient advocacy programs, and many other Maine-based efforts.
