Autos and Eats on the Alley will feature live jazz, cars on display in downtown Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, MI The Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership is inviting the public to Autos and Eats on the Alley Saturday, May 8, under the lights of Bates Alley in downtown Kalamazoo.
A variety of show cars will be displayed on Bates Alley and in the adjoining parking lot during the event that runs from 5-8 p.m. Autos and Eats on the Alley gives residents and visitors the perfect opportunity to check out some of the area’s best vehicles and take advantage of all Kalamazoo’s downtown has to offer, Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership said in a news release.
St. Patrickâs Day celebrations take place in downtown Kalamazoo this Saturday, March 13. Visitors are invited to grab some food and drinks to enjoy the outside at the Central Commons Refreshment Area, which will allow for social distancing.Â
Green Beer will be available at several locations, including Old Burdickâs Bar and Grill, Papa Peteâs, Olde Peninsula Brewpub, Harveyâs on the Mall and Green Top Tavern.
Live musical performances will also take place outside throughout the downtown mall from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., along with appearances from St. Patrick and Liam the Leprechaun.Â
A walking pub crawl will begin at Harvey s and tour the local bars of Saugatuck Brewing Co., Final Gravity, Green Top Tavern and LFG Gaming Bar at noon.
