(CNSNews.com) – Chinese Communist Party’s censors appear to have blocked access in China to CNSNews.com, at a time when the website’s audience numbers in the country evidently have been increasing.
A system monitoring Chinese censorship detected the blockage at around noon U.S. eastern time on April 26 (just after midnight on April 27 Beijing time).
Google Analytics audience data show that the number of daily CNSNews.com users in China, which averaged 467 over the period April 10-25, dropped from that average by 79.2 percent on April 26, and by a further 94.8 percent on April 27.
With a super SIM card and app, some Chinese smartphone users will soon be able to make phone calls protected by quantum encryption.
Unlike traditional encryption methods that rely solely on algorithms, quantum encryption is protected by the laws of quantum physics and has ultra-high security.
Phones equipped with super SIM cards are expected to be rolled out by June this year, said Li Wei, a solutions manager with Anhui-based QuantumCTek Group, the quantum firm that developed the phone.
China s scientific and technological workers in this area have made a number of significant, internationally influential innovations over recent years. In 2020, Chinese scientists developed the quantum computer prototype Jiuzhang.

The State Council, China s Cabinet, unveiled on Tuesday a high-level leading group to coordinate work related to the protection of minors among various government agencies, as well as judicial and other bodies.
Led by Vice-Premier Sun Chunlan, the cross-departmental group was created to better implement the newly revised Minors Protection Law, said a circular on the website of the State Council.
State Councilor Wang Yong, Zhao Kezhi, another state councilor and minister of public security, and Minister of Civil Affairs Li Jiheng are among the members of the leading panel of the group, headquartered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the circular added.
Sens. Cotton, Ernst Introduce Bill to Prevent Agricultural Tech Theft by Chinese Regime
A pair of Republican senators on Wednesday introduced legislation that seeks to establish an office of intelligence within the Agriculture Department to keep U.S. agricultural innovations from falling into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and other “foreign threats.”
The bill (pdf), named the Agricultural Intelligence Measures (AIM) Act of 2021 (S.4768), was introduced by Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and Joni Ernst (R-Iowa). It seeks to establish an office within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) by amending the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994.
